Watercolour painting courses

Courses are run throughout the year to suit individual requirements.

To ensure that you get the very best tuition, workshops
have a maximum of 6 students.

All art materials are provided.

Midday lunch included.

Tea / coffee throughout the day.

Two day small group watercolour painting courses are being held at :-

Dunsmore Home Farm, Clifton on Dunsmore, Rugby, Warwickshire.
The Wilton Court Hotel, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.
Plas Hafod Hotel, Gwernymynydd, Mold, Flintshire. Wales

One, two or three day watercolour painting or drawing courses are held at :-

Roger's home studio in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
and are run when required giving one to one or small group tuition.

Watercolour workshops

Content will be depending on your personal requirements.

Beginners will get a sound grounding in the basics so
they can practice with tried and tested
techniques that are normally used and will go home with
at least one completed painting for each day on the course.

Knowing your tools.
Sizing your picture.
Understanding colours.
Using light and shade.
Shading, tones and texture.
Watercolour techniques used.
Still life
Landscapes
Seascapes
Snow scenes
Flowers
etc.

If you have already created watercolour paintings
then bring them along.
It will help determine any guidance that may be required.
